A native of Ojai, Dr. Simpson earned her undergraduate degree in biology from UCSB, then volunteered with Mercy Ships in West Africa. She completed a Master’s in International Public Health at Loma Linda University and earned her medical degree at Western University. After completing her residency at Ventura County Medical Center, she spent three years in Ethiopia working at Soddo Christian Hospital.
Dr. Simpson specializes in primary care, pediatrics, and women’s health. She is passionate about making complex medical issues understandable and providing whole-person care. Dr. Simpson values communication and strives to help patients navigate the medical system in a way that respects their unique perspectives and needs. Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor adventures, traveling, and spending time with her husband and three boys. Dr. Simpson is committed to helping her patients lead fulfilling lives, despite any medical challenges they may face.
