Nick grew up on a dairy farm in the rural town of Grandview, Washington. He attended Whitworth University in Spokane, where he earned bachelor’s degrees in both Athletic Training and Kinesiology. Nick worked in Division I collegiate athletics at Seattle University as an athletic trainer for one year before deciding to pursue further medical training as a Physician Assistant.
Before starting PA school, he spent an additional year in physical therapy, focusing on the rehabilitation and treatment of orthopedic injuries. In 2013, Nick moved to Loma Linda, California, to attend the Physician Assistant program at Loma Linda University. After completing the program in 2015, he returned to Grandview, where he practiced primary care medicine for two years. In August of 2017, Nick returned to Southern California to serve the people of Ventura County. Outside of work, Nick enjoys spending time with his wife, family, and friends, as well as hiking and traveling.
